A Lonely Person Is a Dangerous Person

She broke her hand
clawing her way towards me
I shut the door
locked her out of her own home
she was willing
to cut me down the middle
slice me open
drag her sharp tangy metal
over my soft skin
watch my flesh tear
pool blood
get her fingers
deep into me
dig me out
pry me open
work through the blood and guts
rip and tear and gnash
crawl back into
the warm safe place
Space
she had created
while I was gone
